The Blow announces three shows at The Kitchen, March 30 – April 1

The Blow have spent the past three years developing a new collection of electroacoustic pop songs. The duo, Melissa Dyne and Khaela Maricich, went looking for some new sounds and new ways of making them; they ended up building a mothership of modular synths, ancient samplers and other processing gear, and using it to weave intricate webs of multilayered frequency. To celebrate the realization of these new sounds they will be performing three nights at legendary performance venue The Kitchen in Chelsea, NYC on March 30th, 31st and April 1st. The performances will be intimate, seated events, in which the duo will install their live production rig and use lighting and narrative to recreate the atmosphere inside of which they have been composing their new material. The Blow are honored to be presenting their new work at The Kitchen, home to early performances by the Talking Heads, Laurie Anderson, Arthur Russell, The Beastie Boys, The Raincoats and many other art and music heroes.
