LA-based queencore band Hit Bargain announces east coast tour dates with DJ Freddy Nightliker, and co-release his remix of their song, “The Circuits That Cannot Be Cut”. Download the single + remix over at Bandcamp.

“YOU’RE ABOUT TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON IN THE REAL USE OF POWER!”, is the bombastic vocal introduction to an epic rework of an already action packed “queencore” ode.

For the original feminist anthem, Hit Bargain was inspired by the major motion picture, Die Hard, and it’s protagonist John McClane, (played by Bruce Willis). In addition to being a driving song, it is wry social commentary on terrorism, police and gun violence.

For his remix, recording artist, DJ, sound designer and turntablist, Freddy Nightliker ‘“pulled every tooth of the song and made dentures, then removed every organ through its nose, a la Egyptian mummification ritual.” The result demands repeat listening. A certain hit in uncertain times.

Hit Bargain is comprised of Nora Singh (vocals)Mike Barron (guitar and vocals), Anton Hochheim(drums), and Sean Monaghan (bass). Their collective resume includes These Are Powers, North Highlands, Ablebody, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
