WATCH “SLUMLORD RISING” W/ COMMENTARY HERE
You may have already watched Neon Indian’s epic short film “Slumlord Rising” – now co-directors Alan Palomo & Tim Nackashi share an audio commentary shedding more light on the making of it. It was filmed at legendary LA venue Jewel’s Catch One just before its interior was torn out as part of a massive refurbishing project.
Opening with a stunning continuous four minute tracking shot, the film delves into the seedy, and sometimes blood-soaked, Los Angeles nightlife world. Co-directed by Palomo and Tim Nackashi, the film is presented as part of a special collaboration with Yours Truly and Wetransfer.
